Hey Kids In this month’s theme we want the kids to know a little more about Jesus when he was
growing up. The bible says that Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52). 
Jesus grew in such a way that people loved him, and God was pleased with Him as he took his
next steps. We see that he was learning more about God’s Word when he discussed it at the
Temple, he was baptised and he said no to the things he knew were not honouring to God when
he faced temptation. The goal of this theme is to encourage the kids to grow like Jesus did, by
learning to respect their parents, by reading their bibles in a way that they are able to study it,
by obeying God and lastly to grow in wisdom by recognising all the things they need to say “no”
to because they could hurt them or other people.
