Hey Kids Christmas is many people’s favourite time of the year! In this month’s theme we are
celebrating all things Christmas and what better way to celebrate it than learning about
God’s love for us. The memory verse for this month is a beautiful scripture from the bible that
will teach the kids that God loves us so much that He gave us His son Jesus. There are many
stories in the bible that tells us about God’s love, but we’ll be focusing on three stories this
month. The kids will learn how John was a miracle baby for Elizabeth and Zechariah and how
he was chosen to prepare a path for Jesus. Have you ever wondered what Joseph was thinking
or feeling when he heard Mary was pregnant? The kids will learn how Joseph was also visited
by an angel and had to accept Jesus as his son. Many responded differently to the birth of
Jesus, we will learn how King Herod, the Wise men and the Shepherds responded. How will
you respond to Jesus this Christmas?
